New Year New Hair.

This year has gone by really quickly without me posting anything really interesting for a long time... It's really been hard to keep up blogging because I don't have much of the patience to do so. But this time i will try to produce more posts..

This is not the first time I have done something to my hair; I did my first ombre hair (link here: Ombre Hair) and also I bleached my hair again to achieve my aqua ombre later that year. This year I wanted something new again and so I opted for this hair:

Just a pink streak coming through the insides of my hair... 

I got mine done at a salon because I really wanted to achieve the vibrant color and that only means a really professional bleaching has to be done. I was very happy with the result of my hair other than the fact that it was really expensive just to color that one streak of hair. It took me almost 2 hours of bleaching and just 20 minutes with the pink color to achieve the look and after that they used a keratin conditioner to my hair to make it soft.

INSTAX MINI 8

Cameras have evolved during the years and now we're back to instax also known as polaroids in the past. I've always wanted one before in became so popular... I asked for it for my birthday and it just never came. Luckily my cousin had bought some and decided to give one to me for my birthday plus she also gave me films! 

I got the blue one! :)

I have also added more films while we were on our japan trip because we really liked the Little Twin Stars ones! :)

the plain ones (50 pcs) costs about 1500php while the little twin stars (10 pcs) costs less than 400php! :)

I used my films during our trip because I just felt they were instax worthy! I don't have the instax photo album, but i found these wire clips from the 100 yen store and I thought they were perfect for the films! I also used sticky tacks for the wire to stay in place as well as the pins. 

I'm going to add more wires and pins soon to fill in my wall! 

what's in my IPHONE 4 :)

Some of you may know that I recently got an Iphone 4 less than a week ago which was very unexpected and unplanned at all! but there are a lot of downsides with it... firstly it's on gmate which means I can't upgrade it to IOS7 thus having less apps to be able to download (gevey sim doesn't work either because of the version that i have is 5.1.1)  secondly, I can't connect to Itunes which also means that I can't transfer all my photos and music. such a bummer. -.-

aside from all the downside I still make the best out of my phone! :)

let's start with my lock screen:

first page:

• calendar- which is VERY important since i dont keep track of dates.
• photos- the only leisure app I have.
• notes-i have nothing here yet since school's a month away.
• clock- i use this for my alarms because i like waking up on time.
• reminders- which will be helpful during school days
• settings- for minor alterations on my phone.
• calculator- im not very good in math so this is a must have!!
• videos- nothing there either.
• youtube- never opened this since its only an old version.
• itunes- no use for me. -.-
• app store- the only place i can put things to my phone!
• newstand- which is a permanent.
• camera- very useful to capture everything!
• safari- i use this for my TUMBLR app because the app itself needs an IOS7. 
• gmate- crucial for me to recieve my messages and make calls as well.

second page:

• facebook- must have app for all!
• instagram- to keep posted on online shops
• twitter- to express one's thoughts.
• skype- for long distance chatting and video chatting as well.
• line- fast photo sharing or even video sharing
• period tracker- i think every girl should need this!!
• dictionary- I used this when im reading a book and encounter an unfamiliar word.
• english chinese dictionary- i use this to refresh my chinese vocabulary
• english japanese dictionary- for our upcoming japan trip!
• fashion up- this is a very useful app if your in a fashion school. It has basic infos on well known designers, schools, events, models and museums all about fashion!

Games folder:

• blitz- this is very much like candy crush. 
• temple run2- a very simple fun game that a lot of you know!
• flow free- to have a stressful game once in a while
• whale trail- a very cute game! but very hard as well....
• zombie tsunami- zombies have never been this cute.
• smurfs- for having a continuous game..
• dumb ways- interactive game for me since you can ask help from another person while playing.
• free fall- also like candy crush, just a fan of frozen.
• cookie dozer- i play this just to pass time when i have to wait for classes or in lines.

Photography folder:

• fotor- this is a photo editor that has everything you would need.
• heartpic- this adds different hearts on your pic.
• panorama- i use this to capture wide shots of a place or setting.
• fisheye- haven't really got to use this but everyone uses this on their pics nowadays.
• kawaii photo- cute stickers you can add unto your photo
• instameme- also stickers you can put to your photo.
• instarage- same as instameme but it has more cuter memes.
• #hallowang- i've always wanted a cat face! but this is in a Halloween theme.
• split pic- i love this if you want to double or triple yourself in a setting.
• popbooth- also an editing app
• reflection- I wanna use this for outfit posts since its similar to giving a mirror effect.

third page:

• utilities- i dont even know what i have in this folder. never use them anyway...
• installous- i dont understand that much what this is for but i know its for a jailbreak thing and it doesn't work anymore.

unused items:

• messages- this has no use for me since i use my gmate
• phone- also using my gmate instead of this.
• maps- i dont really go to unknown places much
• weather- i already have this on my drop bar thing..
• stocks- adult thing.
• game center- i have way "funner" games than this
• cydia- i dont understand this yet
• mail- i'll just download a yahoomail one and a gmail one. 
• music- RIP. :(

• this is what my gmate app looks like inside and i have everything i need to contact people here. also the settings lets me edit my message tone and also calls.

SUMMER TIE DYE cropped shirt.

Many schools are already having their summer vacations already but sadly our school haven't!

But still you could feel the heat of the sun against our skin everyday and also our sweat pouring nonstop! I thought of something to spice things up with a long T-shirt that I thrifted for 30php. I cut the length of the shirt into a cropped one and still felt that it needed something else! I thought of tie dying it!!! ITS SUMMER anyways! and its pretty easy to do...

What you need: 

• A white shirt
• Dye (any color combination you want)
• salt
• bucket

• Put in your garment in hot boiling water plus your dye and 2 teaspoon of salt.
• Wait for 10 min...

The end product!! :) 

clothing choices:2

For my second clothing choice in this blog, i've decided to feature this piece of crop top since they are very popular these days and I got this just recently for just 200php and not at online shops who sell it for 350 which is kinda overpriced for a simple crop top.

They also had a black one with the same sunflowers all over but I already have that same fabric on a dress so I just opted for this navy blue one. Another print that they had were small daisies printed all over the top as well and I would've bought that one but the daisies were smaller and weren't that appealing at all. 

The fabric isn't all that thick as you can see but you can still wear it as it is... This top is so ready for the spring time(aka. summer time, since we only have 2 seasons in the PH :(!! but nonetheless i can't wait to wear this with my light washed high waisted jeggings, which i think will make me look taller than i really am!

I will be doing this clothing choices from now on just to have a short post from time to time about the clothing deals and what I have bought recently. :)

My post today will be a little late because this sale happened sometime ago. This was when Topshop did their buy 1 get 1 sale along with forever 21 and I was so stoked because as i remember they never did this before! I was suppose to buy a shoe and a velvet shorts when I was in Shangrila but then the shoes' color weren't for me. We then went to SM Aura that night and I found something else!

I found this plaid dress! It was the last piece there was and so I was not letting it go! it's a size 10 but I thought I will just put a belt on the waist or just leave it as a smock dress. It was 50% off pricing at Php1300+ which was a little pricey still for me but it was in with the trend right now and I've been into dresses now. Plus the color is a little different that the usual red plaid that we see.

It's hem is also hi-low which is kind of weird for me but I made it work so we're good with that. 

btw the take one that we got was for my brother, he got an acid washed denim pants which was a great deal because it was only Php800+!

Alexa Chung IT-review

I've always been a fan of fashion coffee table books just because they are light reads. They have interesting pictures that are personal to the writers and for me that's how you really know a person and what they're about. Alexa Chung's book is one of them. It became popular in tumblr posts and that's how i found out about it. I also thought that it was a new release early this year and that it wasn't available in my country yet... but as I frequently see posts of it in the web, I became more and more interested in buying one for myself for inspiration. I went to Fully Booked in greenhills because they have the best service there for me and it's near our house. I asked for the book and it was sold out. -.- so I just reserved one just in case it will be back soon! after a week we again went to greenhills and it's there!! my reserved copy has finally arrived! I was stoked! it was 1044php at fully booked! I don't know how much it will be in other bookstores but National Bookstore doesn't have it yet from the time I asked.

I want to share a little about the book and how it was...

the book itself is hardbound which is pretty obvious and also the cover is like this fabric material and it gets dirty easily so better keep it in plastic.It's also pretty big from what I've imagined it to be and thicker.

I also loved the graphics inside and how colorful everything is. 

Also there would be pictures and drawings from Alexa telling a story about her life and the things she went through.

Overall It as a very interesting book if you're a fan of her because I finished the book in one seating. I suggest you grab a copy or reserve a copy because they're selling out fast!

We all need our staple pants!

It's been quite a while since my last post but this will be a short one just because I'm really happy about this purchase of jeggings! so here it goes!!

I have been wearing pants since forever, but just lately did I found out that they don't really fit me. Nothing fitted me well in the pants section, either they didn't fit my thighs, or they did not fit my waist or butt. So when jeggings came out, they were my life saviors! I never bought pants anymore after that...  never looked back.

I now currently have 7 black jeggings,1 yellow, 1 "reddish", 2 blue and a white! and I have been wanting some light denim ones! and I recently spotted this denim light wash jeggings and I was so thrilled! I just found a similar wash of this in Topshop and Uniqlo but the topshop ones were crazy expensive and the uniqlo ones didn't have a small already, so I just picked these ones up! What I love about them is that they are so skinny till the bottom! and it fits perfectly. What's better is that they offer it in other sizes and not a one size fits all kind of thing. It has a really thick denim feel to it and was so simple and plain that i loved! The price is also very reasonable even cheaper than uniqlo...
